Course Informations
The sixth annual sports medical course on sport climbing and running will take place in the world renowned climbing area, the Frankenjura. Based on the success of our previous five courses conducted in German, we have decided to host this course in English as an international event Over the four days of this event, evidence-based lectures will be supported by practical workshops and sporting activities aimed at all ability levels in climbing, running and mountain biking. CME points will also be awarded.

Course approval and CME accreditation:
The course has been approved by GOTS (The Society for Orthopaedic Traumatologic Sports Medicine ), the UIAA Medical Commission and The Wilderness Medical Society. CME accredition from various medical bodies will be requested as in previous years. This includes accreditation from:
- Bay. Landesärztekammer: 16 CME points requested
- German Degree in Sports Medicine (requested: (sports medicine 16, sports medical theory 19h: A1, I1, E5, B4, G5, F1).
- FAWM credits of WMS: 13.5 h
- Physiotherapy CME points

The closest bouldering area is just a 5 minutes walk from the course venue. There are a large variety of running and mountain bike trails close by.
