International Climbing Meeting & Outdoor Games

The 7th edition of Sanvito Climbing Festival will take place from October, 29 th to November, 1st in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily.
The great international climbing meeting is settled on a wonderful Mediterranean shore, full of well equipped and scenic crags, counting more than one thousand routes, either single pitch or multipitch. During the Festival, climbers from all over Europe will enjoy competitive and non-competitive climbing events: a Climbing Marathon, a non-competitive Climbing Meeting, DWS Contest, Schoolchildren climbing and Baby Speed Climb.
Moreover, the festival hosts an important film show, featuring mountain and adventure movies.
While climbing remains the true heart of the Festival, two of the most important outdoor sports are included: Trail Running and Mountain Biking.

Nina Caprez, presenting her videoclpi Orbayu, the story of an engaging and wonderful multipitch;
Maurizio Giordani, with his latest book, Appigli Sfuggenti;
Federica Mingolla (team Petzl) will present the video recounting the ascent of Digital Crack, on Mount Blanc;
Freestyle show:
Thomas Oheler (Team RedBull) with his trial bike;
Kuba Adamoski (Parkour Generation) will present the new trends of this street activity;

Versante Sud will present the new edition of Di Roccia di Sole - Climbing in Sicily, the definitive guidebook for climbing all over the wonderful island;
Franco Brevini, a journalist and a writer, will screen his latest documentary about wilderness;

Top marathon - a brand new sector will feature routes up to 40 mt long - the hardest in San Vito.
Boulder Contest on an artificial wall set up in the main square.
